Suspension at both ends is the standout here, and it is the upgrade that most changes how a scooter feels on cracked city pavement. Air-filled 9.5-inch tubeless tyres absorb far more road buzz than solid ones and, being self-sealing, resist the punctures that plague pneumatic tyres.
Braking is handled by rear drum + power rbs™ (regenerative braking). This is adequate for commuter speeds but I would not push it hard downhill; stopping distance rises faster than speed does. At this scooter's speed, hydraulic brakes would have been the safer specification.

In everyday terms it is heavy enough that you should plan not to carry it far — think of it as something you roll and fold, not lift. Weight is the specification buyers most often ignore at purchase and most often regret afterwards, so be honest about how many stairs stand between you and where the scooter lives.
Apollo does not state UL2272 certification for this model on its specification page. UL2272 is the standard covering the scooter's electrical and battery system against fire, and its absence — whether the scooter is uncertified or simply undocumented — is worth resolving before you buy, particularly if you will charge or store it inside a shared building.
A full charge takes about 7.5 hours from the standard charger, which realistically means charging overnight rather than topping up between a morning and evening commute. If charge speed matters to you, ask whether a faster charger is offered, but weigh it against battery life: fast charging generates heat, and heat is what ages lithium cells.
Whatever the 646 Wh pack, how long it lasts is mostly in your hands. Lithium batteries prefer to live between roughly 20% and 80% of charge; draining to empty and leaving it there, or storing it fully charged in a hot space, are the two habits that shorten a scooter's usable life the fastest.
